Barcelona new signing Matheus Fernandes finally joins rest of squad

On Wednesday, October 14, new signing Matheus Fernandes joined the rest of the squad in training after doing individual work for several days, Diario Sport says.

The Brazilian picked up a thigh injury at the beginning of the season and has been out up until now.

Ronald Koeman doesn't seem to trust the defensive midfielder as he didn't use the 22-year-old even during the pre-season friendly matches.

Out of the four players Barcelona brought in this summer, Matheus is the only one who hasn't been officially presented at Camp Nou.

Besides him, Neto, Sergino Dest, Gerard Pique, Carles Alena, and Ousmane Dembele trained on Wednesday.

Arnau Tenas, Konrad de la Fuente and Ramos Mingo from Barcelona B also joined in.
