Benzema few games away from setting incredible Real Madrid new record

With 250 goals to his name for Madrid, the Frenchman is becoming a modern-day hero.

Karim Benzema has played a whopping 517 games for Real Madrid so far, meaning he's come pretty close to breaking a record set by Roberto Carlos.

If the Frenchman plays just 10 games more, he will match Carlos' record (527) of being the foreigner with most appearances for the Whites.

And if he plays 11, he will break the record and rewrite history in true Benzema style. The 32-year-old also hit his 250th goal for the club with a wonder strike against Levante.

This is Karim's 12th season with Madrid, having joined us in 2009 from Lyon.
