Berbatov task Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann to directly ask Koeman to restore him to preferred position

Berbatov says that the best thing Griezmann can do is to directly talk to Koeman about his position.

The Bulgarian believes that Antoine's situation is complicated because there's a lot of competition in the squad.

"I've never had the misfortune to play out of position, but it must be difficult when you're good at playing in a position and they take you out of there. The best thing Antoine Griezmann can do is go directly to Koeman and have an honest talk with him about his case," former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has told Betfair. "I hope he has already done it because Griezmann is a great player, but it is difficult, even more so when you compete with players of such high quality."

So far this season, Koeman has used Griezmann as a right-winger on three occasions and as a centre-forward once. The best option for Antoine would be to be used as the attacking midfielder in Barcelona's 4-2-3-1 system. However, the coach has been playing Philippe Coutinho in that spot.

Because of his bad performances, Koeman left Griezmann on the bench in the Champions League match vs Ferencvaros and might bench him again in the upcoming clash against Real Madrid.
