Clement Lenglet comment on Barca's 8-2 defeat to Bayern: 'We have to lift ourselves up and erase that'

The Catalans were thrashed by the Bavarians 8-2 in the Champions League quarter-final in August.

Lenglet now targets a title with Barca to erase that painful defeat.

“We have to lift ourselves up and erase that,” Clement Lenglet said of Barcelona's 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final in August in an interview with RTL.

“It’s part of a footballer’s career. Now, we need to challenge for titles with Barcelona.”

The Catalans have changed their head coach since then, replacing Quique Setien with Ronald Koeman. Barca started off the 2020/21 season with victories over Villarreal and Celta and a draw with Sevilla under the new boss.

The Blaugrana return to the La Liga action already this weekend as they travel to Getafe on Saturday.
