Ronaldo remains a key player for Portugal at 35 years old.

Cristiano could retire from international duty in 2 years.

Speaking to UEFA's official website about the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Cristiano Ronaldo said: "Very good, for me. I expect Qatar could be my final World Cup.

"I often go on holidays there, to Qatar as well as Dubai. I am happy because for sure it will be last international tournament."

Before the World Cup in Qatar, Cristiano will be looking to defend his UEFA Euro title next summer with the tournament postponed due to the pandemic.

Last month, the Real Madrid legend reached another incredible milestone by scoring his 100th goal for Portugal against Sweden.
