Griezmann reacts France win against Croatia: 'I feel good. The coach knows what position to put me in'

Griezmann says he's taking advantage of the confidence the coach and his teammates have been showing him.

"I feel good. The coach knows what position to put me in. I take advantage of this situation, this place and the confidence of the coach and my teammates," Antoine Griezmann has told Telefoot after the 2-1 win over Croatia.

This is likely a response to Alain Giresse, who's recently hit at France's coach Didier Deschamps for misusing the forward.

"I think I scored a beautiful goal," Griezmann added. "I put all the power into the shot, it could have also ended in the stands."

Griezmann played from the start against Croatia and was subbed off after 83 minutes. With 34 goals, Antoine is now France's fourth-best goalscorer, having the same number of goals as David Trezeguet.
