Koeman reveals Barcelona wants revenge, explains the difference between Bayern and Barca in terrible CL loss

Koeman says that, unlike Barca, Bayern were in great shape and were well-organized.

The Dutchman believes that you can win games only if you play of the team.

The coach is sure that Barca's players want to take revenge for the 8-2 loss and are looking forward to starting the CL campaign.

"The big lesson for me is if you don't play as a team, you can't win. You need to be organized to play against opponents like Bayern Munich. They are a strong team with a lot of individual quality," Ronald Koeman has told BarcaTV.

"First of all, if you see the physical state of the Bayern — it's excellent, and the organization was excellent, so the team was excellent. That was the big difference that night.

"For sure Barcelona's players will have the intention to take revenge for what happened that night in Lisbon. We are looking forward to the La Liga return, but, of course, we are also looking forward to our first Champions League game of the season."

Barca start their 2020/21 CL campaign with a home match against Ferencvaros on Tuesday, October 20.
