Real Madrid defender Ramos suffers possible injury during Cadiz defeat ahead of El Clasico

The captain had to be subbed at half-time after experiencing discomfort in his knee.

Sergio Ramos picked up a possibly worrying injury before being substituted at half-time against Cadiz, as per Marca.

The Spanish defender seemed to pick up a strong blow to his left knee and couldn’t come out in the second half.

This comes just 7 days before the El Clasico and a few days before Real Madrid’s Champions League opener against Shakhtar Donetsk.

While nothing has been confirmed so far, Zinedine Zidane will hope his captain hasn’t suffered anything bad as he’s already missing key stars through injuries.
