Barcelona fell just €20m short of bringing Neymar back in 2019

Javier Bordas says PSG were asking for €130m plus 3 players while Barca were offering €110m plus the same players.

In the earlier interview, Bordas mentioned Neymar's father was ready to pay the remaining sum.

"For Neymar, PSG asked for €130m + Todibo, Rakitic, and the 1-year loan of Dembele. Barcelona offered €110m + Todibo, Rakitic, and the 1-year loan of Dembele," former Blaugrana director Javier Bordas told Cadena COPE, referring to the failed attempt to bring back Neymar in 2019.

In the earlier interview, Bordas already mentioned there was a difference in money and Neymar's father was ready to pay the remaining sum.

The Neymar transfer saga was dragging throughout the summer of 2019 but came to nothing. Now, his return is practically impossible because of Barca's financial situation.
