Barcelona players' position in dressing room revealed: Fati gets Xavi's spot

Matheus, who's yet to make his debut, got Koeman's old locker.

Ronald Koeman was involved in designing the layout of Barcelona's dressing room as he wants to achieve a good vibe in the squad, Diario AS report.

Here's the layout of Barca's lockers:

One of the main decision was to put Leo Messi, the captain of the team, in the centre; to his sides, the Argentine has newcomer Francisco Trincao and semi-veteran Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

It seems like the coach wanted to pair players that speak the same language, as we've got Frenkie de Jong and Sergino Dest side by side (both speak Dutch), Matheus Fernandes and Neto, Ousmane Dembele and Samuel Umtiti.

Ansu Fati got Xavi's old locker and now he sits next to Gerard Pique.

Interestingly, Inaki Pena, who's not formally part of the first team, has got a locker together with the seniors.
