Barcelona Youth team coach Jordi Font proud of Oscar Mingueza debut

Barcelona junior coach Jordi Font is delighted for Oscar Mingueza over his first-team debut this week.

The young defender featured in victory at Champions League opponents Dynamo Kiev.

And Font told Mundo Deportivo: “I am especially excited that Óscar has had this opportunity because he is a boy we signed when he was seven years old and I was lucky enough to take him from a first-year boy in football 7 to the first-year junior in football 11.

"He is a boy who, although it is a little clichéd, apart from being a good player is a charming person, he is a very open boy, very friendly and with good feelings. He is very affectionate, with a family behind that supports him and has known how to lead him and make him grow while maintaining these characteristics."
