France Head coach Deschamps urges Giroud to quit Chelsea

France coach Didier Deschamps has again told Olivier Giroud to consider leaving Chelsea.

Deschamps is unhappy seeing Giroud struggling to get games this season with the Blues.

He said, "The situation in the club has to impact him. He needs rhythm. It's hard but that's not why I want to lose him.

"We talk, he has every interest in it not lasting for him. We must not forget what he did with us.

"Olivier, I know him. He is going through a difficult period both physically and psychologically. He's a big build, having a shorter playing time doesn't do him a favour.

"If his situation drags on, he knows very well what I think he needs to do so that he remains competitive."
