I don't regret risking my kneel for world cup: Barcelona defender

Samuel Umtiti refused to undergo knee surgery in 2018.

The Frenchman says he doesn't regret the decision because it made him a World Cup winner.

"I risked my knee to win the World Cup with France. I don't regret the decision. In life, you have to make decisions and I don't regret the choice," Samuel Umtiti has recently told Canal+.

As a reminder, the centre-back refused to undergo knee surgery in 2018 which resulted in recurring injuries the Frenchman has been picking up.

However, rumour has it Umtiti has been slowly getting back to his best version in training. As soon as he is fit, he will possibly get the first-team chance.
