INSIDER: Giroud 'ready to leave' Chelsea in January with Euro finals in mind

The French striker has started only one game for Chelsea this season and could be on his way out in the upcoming transfer window.

According to The Guardian, a good source of information for transfer news, Olivier Giroud is 'ready to leave' Chelsea in January.

The striker has had limited playing time with the Blues this season following the arrival of Timo Werner and wants to secure more playing time in the buildup to the European Championship.

He has been on fire for the national team with 8 appearances and 5 goals for France this season.

The report adds that he has been advised by national team manager Didier Deschamps to move unless his situation changes at Stamford Bridge.

Giroud's agent recently slammed Lampard for the lack of playing time and we just have to wait and see how this situation develops now.
