Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte reveal his team and Madrid are on 'different levels' after Champions League loss

The Inter boss doesn't see his side as equals for the Whites, after Madrid's 2-0 win at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Despite their defeat, Conte praised his players' attitude after the game.

"We are talking about two teams on different levels," Antonio Conte told Inter TV following his side's 2-0 loss to Real Madrid on Wednesday.

"Real Madrid dominated this competition in recent years and are always protagonists. We are just glancing in.

"The attitude was certainly the right one and I thanked the lads. We can win or lose, the important thing is to do it as men. The lads gave their all."

The Nerazzurri's Champions League hopes have suffered a major blow after Madrid's visit to the Giuseppe Meazza as Conte's men now sit at the bottom of the table with two points from four games.

Zinedine Zidane's men. in turn, took one step towards the competition's knock-out stages in Milan. The Whites are one point behind the Group B leaders Borussia Monchengladbach with two matches to go.
