Koeman responds to Ansu Fati injury: 'It's a blow but we have to give other players opportunities'

Fati picked up a meniscus injury and will be out of action for 4 months.

Koeman says that with Ansu out, Barca will 'lack a good player for a while'.

"With Ansu Fati out injured, we will lack a good player for a while. It's a blow to the team. We have to accept it, we have to give other players opportunities. Hopefully, Fati recovers from his surgery and gets well soon," Ronald Koeman has told Mundo Deportivo.

As a reminder, the 18-year-old picked up a meniscus injury during the match against Real Betis and had to undergo surgery. It is expected that it will take Fati four months to recover.

Ansu has managed five goals in 10 matches for Barcelona this season.
