Marc Bartra tips Ansu Fati to 'mark an era' in world's football and Barcelona

The ex-Blaugrana singles out the 18-year-old rising star as the one with huge prospects of development.

Ansu has scored 13 goals in 43 first-team games for Barca, setting several incredible records.

"There are many. Of the very young ones, I’d say Ansu Fati," Marc Bartra told LiveScore when asked to name a Spanish player capable of making it to the top.

Here's how the former Blaugrana explained his pick: "He’s 18 years old and I see a lot of potential because he’s got everything.

"I’ve followed him since he was very young and as a player, he is fast, skilful, can take on players, is a good finisher (which is perhaps the most important thing).

"I think he will mark an era in La Liga (if he stays playing here) and on the world stage," the 29-year-old concluded.

Fati set several astonishing records even before his 18th birthday. The promising attacker has scored 13 goals in 43 first-team appearances for Barca. Sadly, he is out for 4 months after knee surgery.
