Pedri on Barcelona la liga hope: 'The league season is long, I think we can compete'

Pedri believes Barca should leave the bad result behind and focus on the upcoming CL game.

The youngster says that the timing of Atletico's game hurt the Catalans a lot.

"We have to focus on the Champions League now. The league season is long, and I think we can compete," Pedri has said after the game against Atletico Madrid.

"We must learn from our mistakes to correct them in the future. We knew that this might have happened, so we have to keep improving. It was a tough game. The opponent closed the spaces, and they made things difficult for us. The timing of the goal was bad."

Pedri played the Atleti game from the start but didn't do too well and was subbed off in the second half.

Barcelona have so far registered three wins, two draws, and two losses in La Liga. Next, the Catalans are set to face Dynamo Kyiv away in the CL.
