Real Madrid boss Zidane confirms Carvajal's new injury, provides update on Ramos and Benzema

Dani has suffered an adductor injury which would see him miss 2 weeks.

Karim and Sergio will need more time to recover but the overall feelings are good.

"Carvajal is injured, we're waiting for his diagnosis. I cannot tell you what's happened to him. He has discomfort," Zinedine Zidane has just announced in the press conference ahead of the Alaves game.

On other injuries, the coach added: "Karim [Benzema] will be out for little longer. The important thing that he is doing well. The same goes for Sergio [Ramos]. We've good feelings about them."

As things stand, none of this trio will play against Alaves on Saturday. However, there're hopes to welcome Ramos and Benzema back against Shakhtar next Tuesday.

UPDATE: Real Madrid have just confirmed that Dani is suffering from an adductor injury. Cadena COPE believe he'll miss just 2 weeks.
