Real Madrid Midfielder Toni Kroos slams Aubameyang elaborate goal celebrations with mask:what nonsense!'

Kroos is not a fan of footballers hiding objects in their socks to celebrate goals with rehearsed moves.

He believes such acts do not make the player seem like a "good role model".

Toni Kroos said on the Einfach mal Luppen podcast, as quoted by Bild: "If there are rehearsed dances or choreographies, I find it very silly.

"Even worse is if there are any objects hidden in their socks. [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang once celebrated and took out a mask. That's where it ends with me.

"I don't think that's a good role model, either. What nonsense!

"What I always found sweet was Gerd Muller. He just jumped up, pulled up his pants. That was real joy, nothing big."

The Real Madrid star is not wrong but at the same time, it's the footballer's choice. If someone wants to pull out a Black Panther mask and celebrate a goal, that's really up to them.

Aubameyang is known for celebrating goals with Spiderman masks - among many others - and he's never shied away from embracing his quirky side.
