Real Madrid not interested in signing David Alaba because of massive wage demands

The Bayern Munich defender is going to be a free agent next summer.

Real Madrid are not going to contemplate the signing of Bayern Munich defender David Alaba despite being offered his services, as per Marca.

The centre-back has offered himself to tempt an increased contract offer from Bayern with his contract expiring next summer.

Madrid aren’t interested mostly because of his huge €20m-a-year wage demands to join the club.

Moreover, Alaba also wants a big signing-on bonus if he joins as a free agent – which Los Blancos aren’t willing to provide.

Madrid is not going to make any signings in January and are instead focused on renewing Sergio Ramos contract, which also expires next summer.
