Ronald Koeman impressed with Carles Alena's improvement but refuses to rule out January move
The coach says it was hard for the 22-year-old to get used to the new playing style.
However, Koeman cannot confirm the midfielder will definitely stay for the rest of the season.
"Alena has improved a lot, it has cost him a bit to adapt to the new system. He's changing things up, in order to be a Barca player in midfield," Ronald Koeman said on Carles Alena, as quoted by Marca.
On Carles' future, the coach added: "I can't talk about what will happen in January."
Alena has registered just 97 minutes of playing time this season, completing the full 90 minutes in the 4-0 Dynamo Kyiv win. Still, there are rumours he may leave on loan in January.
