The post-international break run of fixtures could decide Madrid's season.

Zidane wants to strike the right balance between defence and attack.

Speaking to the media ahead of the Valencia clash, Zinedine Zidane said: "You always have to have a balance between defence and attack.

"Three weeks ago we were talking about how we couldn't score enough goals and now it's about us conceding.

"What we have to do is keep working hard because it's not easy to achieve both things -not conceding whilst scoring a lot of goals."

The Blancos have three more games to play this month: Valencia before the international break followed by Inter Milan in the Champions League and Alaves.
