2 Chelsea star named in 55-man shortlist for 2020 FIFPRO World XI

New signing Thiago Silva is one of the only 2 players to be named on the list.

Thiago Silva and N'Golo Kante are the only two Chelsea players to receive votes and make the shortlist for the World XI.

Thiago Silva was picked for his contributions to PSG after they made it to the Champions League final.

Chelsea had a decent 2019/20 season, qualifying for the Champions League but failing to win any big trophies.

All of the Top 6 Premier League clubs have players in the shortlist with Liverpool having the most with 8.
