2021 Spanish Super Cup set to be played in Spain, not Saudi Arabia anymore

The 2020/21 Spanish Super Cup is going to be played in Seville, Spain, as per El Pais.

Initially, it was expected that it would be held in Saudi Arabia but the Covid-19 pandemic ruined these plans.

The semifinals will be played on January 13 and January 14; the final is on January 17.

Real Madrid, Barcelona (the first 2 teams of the 2019/20 La Liga), Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad (the 2019/20 Copa del Rey finalists) will take part in the competition.

Real Madrid are the current trophy holders as they beat Atletico Madrid in the grand final in 2020.
