Casemiro react to his second yellow card miss: 'For me, Mateu Lahoz is the best'

The Brazilian could've got a second yellow in the Atletico clash but got away with it.

Overall, Lahoz seems to have refereed the derby quite well.

"For me, Mateu Lahoz is the best," Casemiro has told Movistar.

"He's the strongest referee in the league and the most sensible," the Brazilian added.

The referee had an excuse to show Casemiro the second yellow after the Brazilian's second-half foul vs Atletico but decided not to do it; so the Brazilian's words don't sound like a mockery – instead, it's just an act of kindness towards the experienced official.

By the way, Casemiro is going to miss the upcoming league game against Athletic Bilbao due to suspension.
