Crystal Palace are targeting a surprising move for Fiorentina attacker Christian Kouame in a potential £20 million transfer.

Manager Roy Hodgson has long wanted to add attacking talent to the team's squad in the past year.

Kouame was close to joining Palace in 2019, but the move fell through due to an injury.

Despite not making the best start to this season, The Sun claims Kouame is back on Palace's radar.

The club will have to pay up for the player in January, as Fiorentina may not want to sell midseason.

Kouame has a single Serie A goal in 11 games this season.
