Ec Barca president Bartomeu to reportedly vote for Joan Laporta in the upcoming presidential election

Laporta was Bartomeu's rival during the 2015 election.

Although former Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has retired from the public eye, he still holds social gatherings and meals with people at the club, usually reliable Catalunya Radio report.

During one of those meetings, Bartomeu reportedly confessed that he would vote for Joan Laporta if nothing changes.

Although he's no longer a club official, Bartomeu has the right to vote in the presidential election as he's a Barcelona member.

Curiously, Laporta was Bartomeu's rival during the 2015 presidential election, with the latter winning by a landslide.

The next presidential election at Barca will take place on January 24.
