Koeman reveals De Jong new quality: He should be more involved in Barca's game upfront.

Koeman says that De Jong is very fast in possession and advances with the ball well and the coach believes that Frenkie should be more involved in Barca's game upfront.

"Frenkie de Jong has always been a player with responsibility for build-up play, but he has other qualities to be more attacking as he is very fast with the ball and can break through lines with the ball. 

We’re working on that with him. We want him to be more important in the final third," Ronald Koeman said the press conference ahead of Barcelona's clash against Real Sociedad.

Against Levante, De Jong was more involved in attack than usual. The Dutchman ended up registering five key passes and assisting Leo Messi's match-winning goal. After the game, Frenkie himself admitted that he has to be more active in attack.
