Telles: ‘Bruno has a leadership position in our dressing room’

The Brazilian says that Fernandes is always helping the players with their positions on the pitch.

Telles insists that it’s a great honour to have a teammate like the Portuguese midfielder.

Speaking about the role of Bruno Fernandes in the Man United dressing room, Alex Telles told O Jogo: “He [Bruno Fernandes] is a very strong man in our dressing room, in the way he deals with each player.

“He has a leadership position, really. He is always helping with his position and that of his teammates.

“He [Bruno] helped me a lot in my adaptation here, as did Fred. It is a great honour and pride to have a teammate like Bruno Fernandes.”

This isn’t the first time that Telles is praising Bruno, which itself proves how much of an influence the Portuguese midfielder is. Fernandes is leading from the front in United’s goalscoring charts right now with 10 goals in the Premier League and has helped create a winning mentality because of which the players were left disappointed with the draw to Leicester City.
