Victor Sanchez: Pochettino will end up coaching Real Madrid, he's always liked them

The former Espanyol midfielder believes Pochettino is in the best moment in his career even though he's been without a club for more than a year.

Sanchez adds that the Argentine coach can coach any team right now.

"He [Mauricio Pochettino] is in the best moment in his career," former Espanyol midfielder Victor Sanchez told Marca.

"I think he'll end up coaching Real Madrid at some point because he's always liked them a lot. He's earned the respect of other coaches and right now he can coach any team [in the world]."

The 33-year-old spent 8 years at Espanyol, managing 18 games under Mauricio Pochettino in 2012.

Pochettino has been without a club for more than a year now. The Argentine coach led Tottenham to the Champions League final in 2019. He gets often linked with Real Madrid, especially after some painful defeats.
