West Ham captain reacts to Declan Rice's growing links with Chelsea

Rice is believed to be Chelsea's priority target for the upcoming transfer window.

Mark Noble hopes the 21-year-old won't leave the Hammers anytime soon.

Still, the West Ham skipper is unsure about Declan's future.

“He’s still learning his trade, he’ll get much better with experience. I’m hoping it’s here but in this game you never know,” West Ham captain Mark Noble told talkSPORT of Declan Rice.

“I’m sure he’ll be a top, top player and an even better player in years to come.”

As per the latest report from The Athletic's David Ornstein, Rice's move to Chelsea is now a question of 'when' rather than 'if'.

The Blues, however, will have to wait until the end of the season to land the 21-year-old as the Hammers are said to be unwilling to sell the midfielder in January.
