Baily out as Manchester United confirm squad to face Sheffield United

Eric Bailly was not spotted with the Man United 20-man squad that will face Sheffield United on Wednesday.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that Bailly was suffering from some slight issue at the weekend, forcing him to miss the Liverpool game.

It doesn’t look like the Ivorian has been able to recover from his problems as he wasn’t spotted with the matchday squad.

Amad Diallo was another absentee from the squad as he continues waiting for his debut for the Red Devils.

Marcus Rashford has been included in the squad after Solskjaer confirmed that he’ll be available to play.

Brandon Williams and Jesse Lingard – who is close to sealing a loan move to West Ham – were the other noteworthy absentees from the squad.

Man United’s squad to face Sheffield Utd:

Goalkeepers: De Gea, Henderson

Defenders:  Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Telles, Tuanzebe, Wan-Bissaka

Midfielders: Matic, Mata, McTominay, Fernandes, Fred, Pogba, Van de Beek

Forwards: James, Martial, Cavani, Rashford, Greenwood
