Barca players rating in Granada win with Busquets 9, Umtiti 7.5

Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann starred as Barcelona thrashed Granada 4-0 at Nuevo Los Carmenes on Saturday night. The two forwards, with the help of Pedri and Ousmane Dembele, scored two goals each as Ronald Koeman's side cruised to all three points.

Sergio Busquets — 9

Sergio was in control of Barcelona's midfield against Granada and he did a great job, often dropping below the centre-backs to start our attacks. Busquets made almost no mistakes this time and was involved in three of our goals.

Antoine Griezmann — 9

One thing we learned against Granada is that Griezmann is finally finding his confidence in front of goal. Antoine ended the match with two goals and an assist.

Leo Messi — 9

Messi was impeccable tonight, and if Ronald Koeman didn't sub him off after 65 minutes, the Argentine could've bagged a couple more goals. Leo's is finally improving his finishing.

Frenkie de Jong — 8

The Dutchman might be the best midfielder in the world at carrying the ball forward, and he showed it once again against Granada. Frenkie also made a couple of exquisite passes even Xavi would be proud about.

Samuel Umtiti — 7.5

Umtiti was meant to start the match on the bench but Ronald Araujo's unfortunate injury changed the plans. Samuel started the game shabbily but improved with time, proving that he can still be a rock-solid defender.
