Barcelona manager Koeman refuses to deny rumour of club wage crisis

Barcelona have been unable to play the player wages in full for almost 2 months now, as per Cuatro.

The players will receive the six months' salaries, which had to be paid in December, only in February.

The club owes money to many European clubs; besides, Barcelona's total debt reportedly amounts to more than one billion euros.

When asked about Barca not being able to play the players their full wages, Ronald Koeman replied: "Have to say I don't know if that's true. I know things come out in the media that aren't true sometimes. I have to ask so can't answer questions about that."
