Barcelona youngsters confirm scoring the first header in his career

Pedri praises De Jong for the assist. The youngster says Barca knew that Bilbao would be tough rivals.

"I'm very glad that I helped the team win. I think I had never scored a header before in my life. De Jong did well to follow the move and I was able to put it in," Pedri said after the 3-2 win over Athletic Bilbao.

"We knew that it would be a difficult game. We had confidence and we made the comeback. They scored early on in the game, but luckily for us, we scored the equalizer not too long after that."

Pedri actually recorded a goal and an assist against the Basques. In total, the 18-year-old has now recorded three goals and two assists for Barcelona this term.
