Bayern Munich eye Militao as possible replacement for David Alaba

Bayern Munich has enquired about the future of Real Madrid's centre-back Eder Militao, Goal report.

They believe he could serve as a replacement for David Alaba, whose contract at the club expires next summer.

Besides the Bavarians, Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund are interested as well; however, there's nothing concrete at the moment.

Militao's desire is to continue at Madrid and become an important player at the Santiago Bernabeu, it's claimed.

However, it's added that Eder is aware that the lack of playing time hurts his chances to get selected for the national team so he might consider leaving on a short loan.

This term so far, the Brazilian has played only 224 minutes across three matches for Los Blancos.
