Catalan media mogul Roures reveals Laporta favourite to win the Barcelona presidential election

Roures believes that Laporta has experience and courage, two attributes liked by the club members.

The businessman has already decided who to vote for.

"Joan Laporta is the favourite to win the election. He has the experience and courage which the club members like a lot," Catalan media mogul and Barcelona member Jaume Roures has told Cadena SER.

"I will not give my signature to any pre-candidate because whoever I would give it to, I don't think he needs it. And yes, I have decided who I'm going to vote for."

Jaume Roures is a businessman, film producer and activist from Catalonia, best known as the CEO of Mediapro.

Laporta has announced that he will run for office once again. He served as Barca's president between 2003 and 2010 and led the club through one of their most successful eras in history. The election will take place on January 24.
