Chelsea boss Frank Lampard coil-over January loan move for Billy Gilmour refuses to rule out
Frank Lampard has refused to rule out Billy Gilmour's potential loan move in January.
"At the moment, he won't go on loan but we will keep it open until the end of the month," the boss said after the Luton Town game, as quoted by Goal reporter Nizaar Kinsella.
The Scottish midfielder has struggled to break into the starting XI after recovering from a serious knee injury.
Still, he was quite convincing in the win over the Championship side in the FA Cup and could consider himself a candidate to stay in the team ahead of the likes of Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic.
Moreover, as per earlier reports, Chelsea did not plan to loan Gilmour out - but of course, there's still a week to go until the transfer window slams shut.
