"Frank brought this on himself. How on earth did he not think to change things up during this slump? You simply can’t rely on players being well-rested and fit to win you games with their energy and effort.

"There are times when the patterns of play within a team’s system can help players coast through some games at 70% effort and still win them. For us though, it seems like Kante, Mount, and both full-backs have to be 100% before we are able to put in a good performance.

"His in-game management gets worse and worse each game. Simply put, his inexperience at this level, coupled with his lack of a plan B, has been brutally exposed these few weeks."

Lampard has been guilty of playing certain players out of position and not making changes soon enough during games.
