Chelsea players Rating in Fulham win with Mount 8.5, Hudson-Odoi 7

Frank Lampard got the victory he desperately needed in a close encounter against 10 man Fulham.

Mason Mount - 8.5

Mount was Chelsea's best player by a huge margin in this game. The midfielder was everywhere, carrying the ball forward and making the right passes. Struck the bar with a venomous hit in the first half and managed to get the winner with an even sweeter strike in the second.

Callum Hudson-Odoi - 7

Hudson-Odoi was probably Chelsea's most impressive attacker on the night despite playing only 15 minutes of the game. The young winger justified all the calls for him to start the game by immediately taking on a couple of Fulham players and initiating the move that resulted in Chelsea's goal. Stop benching him, Lampard!

Ben Chilwell - 7

Chilwell was the pick of Chelsea's defenders in this game. The defence suffered a few shaky moments but Chilwell was solid throughout. Could have put better deliveries into the box but it was his cross that found it's way to Mount via Areola, so can't complain too much.

Hakim Ziyech - 6.5

The winger doesn't look like he's back to his best yet by any means but he still managed to put in a couple of wicked balls that the other forwards couldn't get on the end of. Even on the days he's not completely on it, Ziyech is clearly levels ahead of most other options the Blues have.

Christian Pulisic - 5

The winger has flattered to deceive since his return from injury and today was no different. Sometimes Pulisic just doesn't do enough and today was one of those days. Looked lost when trying to make things happen in attack and should have done better overall.

Timo Werner - 4

Another player who played just 15 minutes, he gets a low rating for missing some gilt-edged opportunities to put the game to bed. Werner has never been prolific but the striker should really have made it 2-0 to Chelsea on multiple occasions in the dying minutes. The goal against Morecambe doesn't seem to have helped too much.

The rest: Mendy - 5.5, Azpilicueta - 6, Thiago Silva - 6.5, Rudiger - 6, Jorginho - 5.5, Kovacic - 6, Giroud - 6, Abraham - 5.5
