Dani Ceballos reveals plan to return to Madrid after second loan spell to Arsenal

Ceballos spends his second consecutive season on loan at Arsenal and hasn't given up hope on succeeding at the Bernabeu.

The Spaniard is tied with Madrid until 2023.

“Third year on loan? No, my goal is to return to Real Madrid and be important at the best club in the world,” Dani Ceballos said in an interview with El Larguero.

“I believe that one day I will come back and be able to return the affection that the fans showed me. For various reasons, I didn’t leave the club in the best manner.”

The Spaniard, however, is yet to become a regular starter at Arsenal despite spending his second consecutive season on loan at the Emirates Stadium.

While Zinedine Zidane still doesn't see the midfielder in his plans for the future, Ceballos believes that the Frenchman is the perfect fit for the Madrid.

“The arrival of Zidane was great news for Real Madrid. I think there is no better manager for Madrid than him,” the 24-year-old added.

Dani, whose move from Betis cost the Whites €16.5m in 2017, is tied with Madrid until 2023.
