De Jong confirm Koeman changing his role and how he feels about it

The midfielder says the coach asked him to improve the attacking side of his game.

He adds that he's now playing in a more advanced role and feels very comfortable there.

"I feel good at the moment," Frenkie de Jong said in the press conference, as quoted by Marca.

"In the last matches, I've been playing in a different position, more advanced, and the coach is asking me for a little more in the attack. I feel very comfortable," the Dutchman added.

Indeed, De Jong has been getting more goal involvements lately: he scored the winner against Huesca and provided a key assist in the Bilbao win.

In total, the 23-year-old has scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists so far this season.
