'For me, it's important to be the full-back Barca deserve': Dest

Dest says he doesn't feel too much pressure and can't wait to see Camp Nou full.

The youngster reveals that Koeman helps him a lot by giving him advice and explaining things to him.

"I am going step by step, it is very important for me to grow and become the full-back that Barcelona deserve," Sergino Dest said in his interview with La Liga. (h/t Diario AS)

"I don't feel too much pressure, I haven't been able to see the Camp Nou full yet but I'm dying to see it. Being able to play for this club, and making my debut, was something special, and I am very proud to be the first American to play here."

Dest also lifted the lid on his relationship with Ronald Koeman, saying that the coach helps him a lot since they both speak Dutch.

"We make each other better, we are growing as a team. There is a lot left, with a very tough schedule, and I will be able to learn from everyone. And Koeman helps me a lot, I can ask him for advice and he explains so that I understand better. I'm very grateful."

The 20-year-old has recorded one goal and one assist in 20 games for Barca this season so far. He hasn't played in Blaugrana's last few matches as he's struggling with muscle discomfort.
