'I don't think they will spend €150m': Fabrizio Romano speaks on Real Madrid transfer plan

Fabrizio Romano doesn't believe Blancos are going to spend big this summer.

Instead, they are planning transfer operations similar to landing Alaba on a free deal.

"Real Madrid are planning for something different. I don’t think they will spend €150m or something like this for players in the next summer so they are planning for different kind of deals like the Alaba one and more," famous transfer expert Fabrizio Romano told Anfield Watch when asked whether Real Madrid are going for Liverpool's lethal trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

In truth, none of these three stars is believed to be a Real Madrid prime target despite earlier speculations.

Meanwhile, David Alaba has long been linked with Real Madrid. Fabrizio Romano keeps saying the versatile star has agreed to join Blancos as a free agent next summer.

Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland remain Madrid's most expensive transfer targets. Yet Blancos reportedly consider landing the French star for free in 2022.
