'I don't think this is step backwards. There were things I liked': Koeman refuse to criticize Barca performance

Barcelona lost 3-2 to Athletic Bilbao in the Sunday heated Supercopa finally and the Barca manager has refused to point finger at anyone

Ronald Koeman says the Catalans actually looked good in the second half. Anyway, the team are disappointed because the way they lost was bad.

"It was a very contested game, in the second half we improved our game. In the first half, we lost balls and we didn't reach their area. We've put ourselves ahead on two occasions, but they scored twice to level the score," Ronald Koeman has told the media after the 3-2 defeat to Bilbao in the Supercopa.

"We are disappointed and sad, but we don't have much time to regret it. Today I saw things that I liked, but there are things to improve as well. It was hard to lose today.

"I don't think it's a step backwards... Winning would have been better obviously, but we will show that we are on the right track in the next games. We need time. For many players this final has served to gain experience," the Dutchman concluded.

Barcelona were in the lead twice during the game but they kept on conceding goals minutes after scoring theirs.
