'If I get a yellow for it, where are we going with this?': Koeman on his Yellow card in Rayo win

Barcelona beat Rayo Vallecano 2-1 in the Copa del Rey and Ronald Koeman insists that Barca could've got a few penalties already in the first half.

He is also mad at the referee for booking him.

The only thing he said was 'there was a foul', the Dutchman explains.

"He [the referee] showed me a yellow for me saying 'there was a foul'. If the referee shows a card for this, where are we going with this?" Ronald Koeman has told the media after the 2-1 win over Rayo Vallecano.

"In the first half, there were a few tackles that could be assessed as fouls and penalties could've been given. But of course, we didn't even get a single one even despite the VAR presence. We just have to deal with that," Koeman added.

Indeed, there were a couple of controversial episodes in the Copa del Rey game but the Catalans had to score from open play to finally make the difference.

This is far not the first time Koeman hits out at referees. Perhaps the most remarkable case took place after the latest El Clasico when the Dutchman stated that the VAR always act against Barcelona.
