'If we win, Xavi and Jordi Cruyff will start working for Barca as soon as possible': Victor Font

Font says that Xavi and Cruyff have contracts at other clubs and it's normal they aren't campaigning together with him.

He calls for other persidential candidates to open up on their sporting projects, just like he's done.

"Xavi and Jordi Cruyff have a contract with their current clubs and we agreed that they would not go out in the campaigning. If we win, they will start working for Barcelona as soon as possible," presidential candidate Victor Font has said.

"For 5 years we have built a project for the future hand in hand with Xavi.

"It's one thing to announce signings and another to explain the sports structure. It's essential to explain it in detail before the election, which people will be in charge of the project. I encourage all pre-candidates to be concrete."

The presidential election at Barcelona will take place on January 24. According to reports, only Victor Font and Joan Laporta will gather enough signatures to qualify for the actual voting.
