'It would be nice to play alongside Messi one day': Atletico Madrid goalkeeper

The Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak is amazed at the way Leo dribbles past his opponents in games.

Oblak says he considers Messi the best because the Argentine is an all-rounder on the pitch.

"Messi does incredible things. He can take the ball somewhere near his team's penalty area, run the whole pitch and score," Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak has told Cadena SER.

"Leo is a multi-talented player, and that's why he is the best for me. It would be easier to play with him than against him, I have no doubt about that. It would be nice. Messi is an all-rounder, for me that's why he's the best," the Slovenian star added.

Jan Oblak is considered to be the most expensive active goalkeeper – his estimated value is about €90m. The 28-year-old has kept clean sheets in 152 appearances out of 281 possible for Atletico Madrid.
