Juventus list Olivier Giroud as possible target in January transfer window

It remains to be seen how appealing such a move would be to Giroud in the middle of the season.

Olivier Giroud features on Juventus' shortlist for the January transfer window, according to Sky Sports.

The 34-year-old is in fine form, scoring 8 goals in 8 last appearances for Chelsea.

His contract with the Blues expires in June but Chelsea want to keep him at least until the end of the season and assure him he'll have plenty of playing time.

Juventus, meanwhile, are looking for a striker, with Napoli's Arkadiusz Milik and Fernando Llorente also in their shortlist.

Earlier, their manager Andrea Pirlo said that Giroud 'would be handy' for his side, confirming their search for a centre-forward.

The Frenchman, however, has hinted that he would like to stay at Chelsea now that he plays more regularly than at the start of the campaign.
